Nerf 2019

The Nerf Ultra One Championship Event was an opportunity for the brand to showcase it's much anticipated Nerf One Blaster, providing a series of meticulously crafted challenges for stars from the world of gaming, sports, and social media -- and bringing the hype with a grand prize of $10,000!

Partnering with experiential leaders Invisible North, myself and my team oversaw implementation of stage design & branding elements, developed and coded interactive technology for multi-stage competition spaces (including all player targets, scoring elements, AV response, and timing triggers for this hybrid broadcast/live event), and directing simultaneous gameplay by multiple competitors. Combining nostalgic 90's kid toys vibe, futuristic game light sensor wizardry, and a life size video game set, we crafted a seamless and scalable event that was both a successful promotion for Nerf, and watermark for eSports competitions to come.
